OH, yuck! Once again my comments box was filled with SPAM today. And it’s almost comical because the text that the “spam bots” write is completely nonsensical. Today the subject was “Hermes Handbags.” Hmm? Let me see if I can make a connection between my storytelling site and handbags…
Yes! I can! First of all, I’m female (even though my name has led some readers to think otherwise) and I’ve had a fascination with pretty purses for a good long time.
But the best connection is the fact that I have always tried to maintain connection/interest/curiosity with my Story Hour Kids long after they have grown-up. And that leads me to Megan.
As a little girl, Megan was shy and appeared delicate–quiet. Her sister and mom had big broad smiles, infectious giggles and lots of pizzazz. And Megan was quiet, adorably quiet. Mom and Sis developed great fashion sense that was clearly apparent forever! And Megan was quiet, adorably quiet. As the girls got older, I really lost touch with them. But then Sis showed up working at Starbucks, so once again those wonderful girls were on my radar. But Megan? Where’s Megan?
My name is B.Z. Smith. I tell stories. This is one of them.
