“Storytelling & Environmental Education” Reprint of an Article by Dr. Brian Strum This article includes an accessible summary of the art of storytelling and its connection to science education. Plus, Dr. Strum provides an excellent bibliography of support materials and storytelling resources.
Art of Storytelling Story Structure This hand-out comprises a collection of theories, graphic organizers and general tips for how to structure stories for powerful telling. This particular version also takes a popular environmental story, a Pourquoi tale, and analyzes it using Dan Harmon’s Circle of 8ths.
